The Temporary Services Registry (TempLA) program is designed to provide meaningful, on-the-job work experience and soft skills training to local residents in order to help them overcome workforce barriers. Program participants are hired as temporary employees in various departments throughout the County of Los Angeles. The ultimate goal of the program is to help temporary employees gain valuable work experience and obtain permanent employment with the County of Los Angeles or outside of the County, return to school, or join the military.
