Can I pass courses before applying to AUB Medical School?
Opting for P/NP grading will not impact your chances of being admitted to AUB's medical school, as long as the courses taken during the COVID 19 pandemic in which you opt for a grade of “P" do not constitute more than 20% of the course credits used to calculate your GPA in the following categories: core premedical courses, major courses, and all courses at the time of application. For core premedical courses, the 20% upward limit applies only to those you take during your undergraduate studies . Courses taken abroad through AUB's Office of International Programs (OIP) , and those taken in the Lebanese Baccalaureate program that are equivalent to premedical courses and assigned a “P" do not enter into the calculation of the 20% limit.
