We're excited to be part of a statewide initiative encouraging Colorado residents to submit a free application Tuesday, October 15 through Thursday, October 17, 2024.
Prepare your materials now
All CU Boulder applicants are required to complete a personal essay and a short-answer question with their Common App. So start early!
Submit your Common App and Member Questions only Oct.15–17
Although you may work on a draft of your application before October 15 within the Common App, you must submit your application to CU Boulder only on October 15 through October 17 to receive the Free App Days waiver. Students must submit a completed admissions application between 12:01 a.m. on October 15 and 11:59 p.m. on October 17.
Select Colorado Free Application Days for your Member Question
Within the CU Boulder Member Questions section, you'll see this required prompt: "Do you intend to use one of these school-specific fee waivers?" In the dropdown, choose Colorado Free Application Days (Colorado residents only). You will then see another required field: "Please provide your University of Colorado Boulder fee waiver code here." Enter FreeAppDaysCO in the field provided.
